PRICING
We know price of garments is a sensitive question and we appreciate you wanting to know more about our how our pricing are built.
1/ QUALITY OVER QUANTITY
We do produce only small batches which do not allow us to have a huge economy of scale and, by consequences, the best spot to negotiate like other big brands producing thousands of pieces per style.
2/ WE PRODUCE IN PORTUGAL
... and it's more expensive comparing with a production in cheap factories. And we are fine with it! Manufacturing in Portugal is a great way to save gas and emissions that would be cost by air freight. It also allow us to easily go to the factory, ensuring people work in good conditions. Also, Portugal has an amazing know-how when it comes to activewear and they allow small brands like us to produce small quantities. That's what we call a match!
3/ WE SOURCE RECYCLED FABRICS IN ITALY
Italian fabrics are known to be one of the best. The ones we have chosen use the ECONYL label, turning nylon waste into yarns that can be then used for fashion pieces. It has a cost but we are lucky and proud to work with such innovative suppliers.
4/ WE GIVE IMPORTANCE TO STYLE, UNIQUENESS AND DETAILS
One thing you should know about the cost of a product cost is that confection can be really expensive. Confection is the time the dressmaker spend per piece as well as the complexity of it. In our case, we have added quite a lot of details to make our garments unique which means more time and more money: all the embroided patches, the signature boxing waistband on all the bottoms requires time, the branded rubber transfers, the fact we assemble different colours and textures on the same pieces, the decorative stitching, among other details :-)
We hope that helps - let us know if you have more questions at contact@theknockout-paris.com
As we want to promote conscious purchase and durable pieces, we will try not to have sales periods more than twice a year so we do not push to consume too much. Subscribe to our newsletter and stay tuned.
